Silver State Stampede Flag Team

 

The Silver State Stampede Flag Team started in 2013 with 9 riders and has now grown close to 30 members strong.

 

We are a group of horse owners and talented riders whose goals (along with dedication, hard work and practice) include having fun & enjoying our horses while being a member of a professional rodeo flag team.

 

Our team is proud to carry the American and Nevada flags along with the sponsor flags during the oldest rodeo in Nevada, Elko’s own Silver State Stampede.

 

If you think you have what it takes to join our team, the 2024 tryouts will be held on April 27th at the Elko County Fairgrounds. (Applications must be pre-submitted, no walk ons)

*Applicants must be 14 years of age by tryout date.

*Applications must be received by Saturday, April 22nd.

*The attached tryout forms include team requirements, rules, and the application return address.

*You will be notified with the date of your tryout by email or phone.
