Ring of Fear is after Bull Riding on both Friday and Saturday night. Sign ups are taken at the north end of the grandstands during Barrel Racing. No cost to enter, 6 sober contestants are selected each night. Winner takes home $500!
mutton busting
Mutton Busting is an all time favorite at the Silver State Stampede. Friday and Saturday the event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Mutton Busting sign ups start the first part of June. All cowboys and cowgirls ages 4 to 8 and less than 65 pounds may enter. Entry fee is $20. Stock is provided by Shane and Marsha Santisteven. Champion buckles donated by Kidwell & Gallagher Law Firm, second and third place prizes donated by IFA. Each participant will win a scarf donated by IFA and a pizza donated by Pizza Barn.
mini bulls
Silver State Stampede welcomes Rough stock 101 and the JBR. One of the largest JBR tour stop events in Nevada. Young extreme athletes from 8 to 13 years old compete on some of the world's smallest bucking bulls brought to you by ROUGHSTOCK 101.
